Presiding over the ceremony was the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense, Guy Kabombo Muadiamvita, who administered the oath of service to the young officers  including 20 women  all members of the 20th Special Session.

This event aligns with the vision of the Commander-in-Chief of the FARDC, the President of the Republic, who continues to push for a stronger, professional, and disciplined national army capable of meeting the country’s security challenges.

“This moment symbolizes sacrifice, discipline, and commitment to the Nation. The future of our army depends on well-trained and loyal cadres,”
emphasized Minister Kabombo in his address.

This marks the second official visit of the Defense Minister to Kananga in 2025, illustrating his commitment to strengthening military education and professional development within the FARDC.

It is important to note that two officer cadets were declared unfit for medical reasons, reducing the final total of recipients to 139 graduates.
