The Permanent Secretary of the Sacred Union of the Nation (USN), André Mbata Betu Kumesu Mangu, arrived in Kananga, the capital of Central Kasai Province, on Sunday, January 4, 2026, as part of a political outreach and engagement visit with leaders and grassroots members of the presidential majority.

He is a National Assembly Member, former First Vice President of the National Assembly, and a Professor of Constitutional Law. As Permanent Secretary of the Sacred Union, he occupies a strategic position at the heart of President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo’s political structure, playing a key role in ensuring cohesion, coordination, and mobilization within the ruling coalition.
