Uganda’s Minister of Local Government, Hon. Barugahara Balaam Ateenyi, accompanied by the State Minister for Local Government, Hon. Justine Nameere Nsubuga, conducted an inspection of the Budwale Road in Mbale District as part of the government’s ongoing efforts to monitor infrastructure development across the country.

The visit aimed to assess the condition of the road and review progress on works intended to improve transportation and connectivity for local communities.

Commitment to Better Infrastructure

During the inspection, the ministers engaged with local leaders and project stakeholders to evaluate the road’s status and identify areas requiring further attention. They emphasized the importance of quality road infrastructure in promoting economic growth, improving access to public services, and facilitating the movement of people and goods.

Budwale Road is considered a key transport route for residents and businesses in Mbale District, making its maintenance and development a priority for the government.
