Continuing his campaign to promote the resolutions recognizing the Congolese genocides, the Minister of Human Rights, Me Samuel MBEMBA KABUYA, held a forum this Friday, December 5, 2025, at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) under the theme: “Recognizing the Congolese genocide: an imperative for international justice?”

Accompanied by two Belgian MPs of Congolese origin, including Lydia MUTYEBELE NGOI, the Minister highlighted the importance of mobilizing the youth of the diaspora in this memory-driven struggle.
During the conference, Me Samuel MBEMBA urged students to take ownership of the fight for the recognition of the Congolese genocide, which is already gaining ground in Africa through two resolutions adopted by the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights and African civil society.
